Arte enregistre son concert de Noël
Issy, le 23 novembre - Une grande première ! Insula orchestra et le chœur Accentus, sous la baguette de Laurence Equilbey, interprètent la Grande Messe en ut mineur de Mozart dans la Grande Chapelle du séminaire Saint-Sulpice, en présence du père Bernard Pitaud, supérieur provincial de la Compagnie des Prêtres de Saint-Sulpice, de M. André Santini, député-maire d’Issy-les-Moulineaux, et de M. Patrick Devedjian, président du Conseil général des Hauts-de-Seine.
La captation de ce moment musical exceptionnel est réalisée pour Arte et sera diffusée sur la chaîne franco-allemande le 25 décembre 2012 à 18 heures 30.
Donnée pour la première fois à Salzbourg en 1783, cette Grande Messe est l’une des œuvres les plus célèbres du compositeur autrichien, merveilleusement chantée par Julie Fuchs, soprano, Ann Hallenberg, mezzo-soprano, Benjamin Hulett, ténor, et Markus Werba, baryton.
Le Conseil général des Hauts-de-Seine a organisé cet événement pour illustrer sa politique culturelle, fondée sur la restauration du patrimoine et la diffusion de la musique classique auprès du grand public.
De 2009 à 2012, la Compagnie des Prêtres de Saint-Sulpice et la mairie d’Issy-les-Moulineaux, avec l’aide d’organismes publics régionaux et nationaux, dont le Conseil général des Hauts-de-Seine, ont entrepris de restaurer les façades et les vitraux de la Grande Chapelle, après avoir redonné au bâtiment principal du séminaire sa couleur originelle, de 2005 à 2007, pour la joie des passants.
Issy, 23 November – A major premiere! The Insula orchestra and the Accentus choir, under Laurence Equilbey’s baton, are performing Mozart’s C-minor Mass in the Grand Chapel of the Saint-Sulpice seminary in Issy-les-Moulineaux, attended by Fr. Bernard Pitaud, provincial superior of the Society of the Priests of Saint-Sulpice, by Deputy-Mayor André Santini and by Mr. Patrick Devedjian, chairman of the Hauts-de-Seine General Council.
The recording of this exceptional musical moment is produced for Arte and will be broadcasted on the French-German network on December 25, 2012 at 6:30pm (French time).
Introduced for the first time in Salzburg in 1783, this Grand Mass is one of the most famous works of the Austrian composer, wonderfully sung by soprano Julie Fuchs, mezzo-soprano Ann Hallenberg, tenor Benjamin Hulett and baritone Markus Werba.
The Hauts-de-Seine General Council is organising this event to illustrate its cultural policy, founded on the restoration of local heritage and the classical music broadcasting for the grand public.
From 2009 to 2012, the Society of the Priests of Saint-Sulpice and the city of Issy-les-Moulineaux, with the help of regional and national authorities, among whom the General Council, have restored the facades and the stained glass windows of the Grand Chapel, after having facelifted the seminary’s main building from 2005 to 2007, for the joy of those passing by.
